About the IoPF
The British Florist Association recognises how essential training and education is for our Industry. The Institute of Professional Florists was formed to recognise and promote these professional floristry skills and to ensure that their member florists maintain high standards and participate in continuous professional development.
Belonging to the Institute of Professional Florists should be an essential part of any professional florist’s portfolio because IoPF membership shows customers, prospective clients and the public in general that the Floristry Industry maintains high standards. That Florists obtain industry approved qualifications and that we are participating and recording continuous professional development. In short IoPF accreditation is a hallmark of the professional florist.
The aims of the Institute are
- To uphold the professional status of florists in the UK and to encourage florists to engage in the process that will record continuous professional development
- To ensure we maintain consistent high standards within the floristry industry through our training and qualifications
- To support our members to meet their professional development needs and help floristry businesses identify learning opportunities for their teams
